From November 19 to 22, 2024, the Buryat Pedagogical College hosted the Traditional "Lesson in the Native Language" Teaching Skills Competition in Ulaanbaatar, Russia. This annual event brought together aspiring educators to showcase their teaching abilities, modern pedagogical approaches, and innovative use of technology.
Representing the Mongolian State University of Science and Technology's Pedagogical School, third-year students B. Buyan, E. Khulan, and Ts. Oyuuntogs participated with guidance from their esteemed mentors, including B. Nanjid, S. Gandelger, A. Amardalai, M. Enkhjargal, H. Barkhuu, D. Batsukh, and Dr. Erdenetuya.
Competition Format
The competition unfolded in three rigorous stages:
Teaching Skills Presentation – Participants demonstrated their teaching methodology, including lesson delivery and engagement strategies.
Parent and Guardian Engagement – Competitors showcased their ability to provide online advice, organize meetings, and foster collaboration with parents and guardians.
Digital Communication and Technology Integration – Contestants hosted websites, shared educational materials, and highlighted their ability to effectively disseminate information.
Judges evaluated participants based on prepared criteria, focusing on innovative teaching methods, the use of e-learning materials, and proficiency with modern technologies.

The organizing committee commended the Mongolian students for their creativity, responsibility, and methodical approaches. They displayed advanced problem-solving skills, the ability to connect with students, and an impressive capacity to adapt to various situations.
