May 15, 2025 – Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia — Third-year students from the Teacher of Music Education program at the Mongolian National University of Education (MNUE), under the guidance of lecturer Mr. B. Usukhbayar, conducted a professional outreach and cultural promotion campaign in two rural areas: Argalant Soum of Töv Province and Jinst Soum of Bayankhongor Province.
The outreach activities held in Argalant Soum on April 28–29, 2025 included:
Introductory sessions and open discussions with high school students, where detailed information was shared about MNUE’s academic structure, program strengths, and admission requirements.
A student-led musical performance that entertained the local community and introduced them to the cultural and educational work of MNUE.
Following this, a similar set of activities was organized in Jinst Soum from May 9–11, 2025, with the same objectives: encouraging youth to pursue higher education, promoting the teaching profession, and delivering accessible cultural experiences to local residents.
This campaign provided students with real-world engagement and professional development while strengthening the link between higher education and local communities. It also served to inspire rural students to explore careers in the arts and education.
